About Freelancer Finance
Who runs Freelancer Finance, what it is for, and what it is not.
Freelancer Finance is an educational site for freelancers whose income doesn't arrive evenly. It explains, in plain language and with the maths shown, how to price work, set money aside for tax, budget on a low month, and build a buffer that survives a dry spell.
Who runs it
The founder is Nadeem Tanwari, based in Karachi, Pakistan. His background is software engineering and freelance work in email deliverability and automation. He is not a CPA, tax adviser, lawyer, or financial adviser, and this site does not pretend otherwise.
What it is not
Not a tax firm. Not a financial adviser. Not a broker. Not a place to get personal advice about your return, your retirement account, or a specific investment. The examples are US-first for tax and retirement, because that's where the clearest freelancer rules to explain are — but the founder is not in the US, and the site does not claim a US office, US address, or US author.
How content is made and checked
The process is: writer drafts, a second person checks the maths and facts, tax and retirement pages go through a qualified reviewer (role and process — no reviewer is named until a real reviewer is appointed), then Compliance signs off before anything publishes. Pages are re-checked when a rule or limit they cite changes. Full detail is on the Editorial & Review Policy page.
How to reach us
See Contact. If you spot a wrong figure, use the Corrections route — that's the fastest way to get it fixed, and fixes are logged publicly.
Page status: shell with real structure, 25 October 2026. Final wording is owned by Editorial and Compliance — this shell is not a substitute for their sign-off, and no page in this set claims a credential, review, or contact route that does not exist yet.
Educational only. These numbers are estimates from the assumptions shown on the page — not advice for your situation, and not a prediction of what you'll owe or save. Tax and retirement rules change. Consult a tax professional before you act on a tax or retirement figure.
