Corrections Policy — Freelancer Finance

How to report an error on Freelancer Finance, and how corrections are shown.

We will get things wrong sometimes. Tax figures change, examples age, and a sentence can mislead even when the maths is right. This page is how we handle that, in public.

How to report an error

Use the Contact route and say which page, which figure or sentence, and what you believe is correct. Tax-figure reports get checked first.

How corrections are shown

We do not silently rewrite an error. A correction entry records the date, the page, what was wrong, and what changed — at least for any tax or limit figure. Editorial cannot delete a correction entry to make the site look clean; Compliance owns this log.

——No corrections yet at launch. An empty log is honest; a hidden log would not be.

Re-check schedule

Tax and retirement pages are re-checked when a new tax year, limit, or rule is published, and at least quarterly for the tax pillar in Q4 and Q1. Each guide shows its last-checked date.

Page status: shell with real structure, 25 October 2026. Final wording is owned by Editorial and Compliance — this shell is not a substitute for their sign-off, and no page in this set claims a credential, review, or contact route that does not exist yet.

Educational only. These numbers are estimates from the assumptions shown on the page — not advice for your situation, and not a prediction of what you'll owe or save. Tax and retirement rules change. Consult a tax professional before you act on a tax or retirement figure.
